I am a mine electrical and instrumentation specialist. I have been working in the underground mine for the last 14 years since apprentice. My working environment is underground where most of the day to day tasks involve HV RMU  and substations installations, 11000/1000V distribution boards. Also do installation of jumbo boxes, fans starters, pump starters. Main ventilation fans and main pumping stations have soft starters and remotely connected to SCADA for monitoring and controlling. My main task is to calibrate, install instruments in the field and do PLC programming and SCADA designs on iFIX. I do weekly mentoring work mates on Instrumentation and PLC.
